Reply To: What is the origin and history of the electric menorah?

Actually,I’ve always wondered how it’s accepted across all shuls to have an electric menorah by the amud. Not saying there’s any problem with it, just seems like an item that would have been controversial when initially introduced, yet it’s acepted everywhere as if that’s the way it’s always been. But obviously it wasn’t there before the lightbulb!
