tcanter: At most chupas that I attend, (and at the chupha’s of my married children the chosson turns and hugs his parents and shver, the kallah hugs her parents and shviger, the parents friends especially the men go and wish mazel tov to the parents while the chossons fiends wait until the chosson and kallah come out from under the chuppah .
