As regards the shul in the mosque in the Bronx, I found articles referring to Young Israel of Parkchester that got taken over by Chabad, becoming Chabad of the East Bronx. The Chabad website doesn’t list it and neither does the NCYI website, so I suspect the shul has disappeared.
