Providing day-care for Joseph (assuming he lives in Yerushalayim) would not be especially compensatory and comes with a host of other issues for any normal baas yisroel.
Reminder that an A/2 and certain student Visas doesn’t always allow Americans to work while in EY and a separate work permit may be required. Don’t automatically assume your Visa automatically allows you to work while your husband is studying in EY.
