Reply To: Why doesn’t coffee have it’s own ?????

That is not a birchas hanehenin but a borei pri haetz. It is ground and not eaten raw so we don’t see the fruit anymore. The question is instant coffee I can understand, but what about cooked coffee?
Why is it different from vegetable soup?
