The statistic is SOURCE OF ADMISSION. Nothing else.
66% were admitted from home
18% from nursing homes
4% from assisted living facilities
2% from “congregate” homes, which I guess means dorms, hostels, etc.
2% were homeless
less than 1% were from jail/prison
and 8% were from “other”.
