I agree with MOST of your points regarding yidden leaving the NYC metro area ard relocating to less densely populated areas with a higher quality of life. When I left years ago there were certain challenges but others followed and we now have a thriving community. Depending on your mesorah and hashkafah, you may want to consider one of over a dozen smaller metro areas noted in the above posts rather than going “off the grid”.
