Unless the Raleigh has done a massive rennovation over the past year, I’d steer clear. From what I’ve heard from friends who planned to stay their last summer, outside the lobby and a few new “bungalow” type townhouse additions, the place reeks of the 1950s/60s literally and figuratively. Smells in the hallways, dirty linens and carpeting, ancient plumbing, bugs etc. If you must go, check to be sure you are reserving an “upgraded room” and ask specifically what that includes.
Also, consider the Oppenheimer Regis in Fleishmen’s New York. Also frum crowd with chasideshe shechita and shul on site. They’ve upgraded the facility across the board . Still not a 5 star hotel but a step above the Raleigh
