The funny thing about this thread, is that everyone jumped on if 9/11 was Clinton’s or Bush’s fault. There is a much better debate about the other event in the OP. Oslo came after the longest republican run in the white house, since the state was created. Israel had it’s first public spats with the american president in the eighties. ALso, the PLO was resurrected before Clinton took office. If Carter had won a second term, there probably would not have been an Oslo or an intifada. Though overall, Israel could be in a worse situation.
