Before this police brutality battle cry became a “thing”, there was outrage over all the killings of blacks by cops. The stats showed, if i remember correctly that 18 blacks were killed by cops. When those stats didn’t support the cause, they switched it to police brutality, and by then the excitement of getting free stuff from target took on a life of its own. But it was founded on lies.
