The previous week he called President Uhuru Kenyatta of Kenya, King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud of Saudi Arabia, and Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi of Iraq. The previous week he called Prime Minister Netanyahu of Israel, and the week before that President Xi Jinping of China, Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India, Prime Minister Scott Morrison of Australia, and President Moon Jae-in of the Republic of Korea. Before that he called Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga of Japan, President Vladimir Putin of Russia, Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), German Chancellor Angela Merkel, President Emmanuel Macron of France, Prime Minister Boris Johnson of the United Kingdom, Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
