Reply To: Why do yeshivos give off or end early on Lag Baomer

I can hear a difference by Chol Hamoed because many people attend yeshivos in different cities than where they live and they go home for yom tov so it wouldn’t make sense for yeshivos to have all their talmidim fly back in then fly back out for the last days and chances are you’ll have a Friday or Shabbos within chol hamoed so it is very impractical. Also, for the younger kids, if there was yeshiva, it would limit families from traveling to relatives who live out of town for Tom tov.
