the question surely is what is it about being ‘religious’ makes one happier?
Is it the community support and feeling of belonging or is it feeling a connection to the Divine or something else?
and what do we mean by ‘happier’ anyway?
are we just falling into the ‘American Dream’ of ‘pursuing happiness’ rather than connecting to what’s really important in life?
