His goal was to use the weapon as a deterrent for rioters to attack the property he was guarding, and being that there was a chance he’d be attacked for doing so, the gun was loaded. What do you mean by “ready for the challenge”?

A group of teenagers, unasked, but annoyed at the rioters, successfully saved and protected that 1 store. Your telling me now that you’d rather be one of those 49 owners who just lost their life savings, rather than that 1 thankful owner??
