I assume you are referring to the “The Communism of the Rheinischer Beobachter” where Marx is critiquing the income tax as being insufficient for alleviating the suffering of the proletariat. He’s critical of charity but doesn’t tell people not to give it. He just sees it as only a half baked measure which is then used to control people. Similar to how Brisk doesn’t take money from the government so it is not controlled by it.
Again, you lump all feminists together. There is a difference between first wave feminism and second wave feminism. With regard to Beauvoir, I don’t have a copy of her work on me so I can’t see what you are referring to.
