Who says that the Lithuanian approach is appropriate bichlal? I think it’s appropriate for Yechidim but as a mass system, not at all. But the Litvish derech got a lot of branding and marketing and that’s why it’s popular. It’s a fact and it’s time to call a spade a spade.
