The Chasam Sofer quotes Rav Nassan Adler who interprets the pasuk כי יתן איש אל רעהו כסף או כלים לשמור Hashem, who is called Ish, gives to His friend, to us money and utensils (eyes, ears and mouth includes also time) לשמור, to guard and use it properly וגונב מבית האיש, one still it away by not using it for the right purpose, אם ימצא הגנב ישלם שנים, if the burglar is found guilty, one must pay double כפלים one time for not listening to Hashem and twice for not letting Hashem do good אם לא ימצא הגנב, if one does teshuva from love so the violation is converted to benefits, ונקרב בעל הבית אל האלקים then the one will gets closer to Hashem provided אם לא שלח ידו במלאכת רעהו did not violate the laws of בין אדם לחברו of interaction of each other.
