@Da moshe, the local paper is a mouthpiece for Preserve Rockland so I would not take anything they say at face value, fact is before the frum takeover it was run by a bunch of illiterates who could not balance a budget if you paid them.
PS same holds true in your home territory of Lawrence Public and H/W Public.
