Shop Rite in Napanoch/Ellenville in the Catskills is closing because it can’t compete with the Walmart down the street. Walmart doesn’t carry very much kosher food, so summer visitors may have difficulty getting what they need before the beginning of Shabbos. The Napanoch/Ellenville area is home to may summer bungalow communities and camps.
