Let’s be abundantly clear. Trump was willing to continue his pointless diplomacy with Iran even after 60 days. Trump was chicken enough to have Rubio distance the US from the attack. After the initial success Trump tried to take credit. Since then he has blocked Israel from killing Khameni. He has also threatened Teharan by telling all to evacuate and then doing nothing. He still has not carried through on any of his bluster or threats. All that was done by the IDF was despite Trump’s best public efforts to stop it. That being said his administration deserves hakarot hatov for continuing to aid Israel is a defensive capacity just as the Biden administration did.
