yes unfortunately this a is a pretty krum website. i happen to be here because my filter blocks twitter which i think is the only access to kol haolam from a PC but my experience is that kol haolam is much more erlich both in honesty, morals and tznius levels of what they post. I highly reccomend them (on whatsapp vechulu). yes ywn is the most popular and efficient site for frum news source but doesnt seem to be lead by any sort of yashrusdike oversight. def the most up to date and sometimes the best scoop but at a bit of a cost. and yes lashon hara and gneivas daas is certainly an issue nobody seems to worry too much about here when posting certain things that were obvs not desired to be “posted on yeshiva world” nor shou;d they be. to hide behind these “rightous” intentions of informing the tzibbur is just a (weak) rationalization to get more clicks.
