WTD, I think the difference is that selling a kidney affects relatively few people – assuming the person who was selling the kidney got the kidney voluntarily and not through the bathtub scheme…defrauding/laundering money affects the entire nation. Anyone who launders money is effectively stealing from the entire USA.
