How can a heimesh store in a Frum Neighborhood compete with a Department Store near by that is successful because it sells volumes of merchandise of the same exact item? It is not possible. Especially now during the current Recession when our spending ability is more restricted. This creates a feeling of ambivalence as I want to support the Jewish Owned Business but I am swayed by the Department Store that can sell the same exact item for half the price.
