On a different note:
The age old rebuttal to being accused of doing something wrong is to point out the accuser’s fault(s). And the obvious rhetorical question to that is: do two wrongs make a right
I can appreciate the concept of practicing what you preach- however, should we all close our mouths because we’re not perfect?
If you are honest enough with yourself, you should have the capability of accepting mussar from ANYONE- whether he practices or not.
You can learn from anyone, if you only wanted to- especially their mistakes.
