I guess I deserved that sarcasm. My point was that I don’t understand why this is a news item worthy of discussion – any more than regular flu. I don’t remember having a discussion here about getting the seasonal flu shot.
We’ve already discussed teh swine flu. Most people here seem to agree that it is overblown, to put it mildly, and that the hype about it is just a result of preying on everyone’s fear of impending apocalypse.
The vaccine is a natural follow up – just like the CDC and WHO have to do something to validate their existence, the drug companies have to produce revenue to validate theirs.
Why would we give credence to this bogus news item by discussing it any further?
