When is that Guillain-Barre article from? It was an issue with the first flu vaccines many years ago (which is referenced there as the 1976 debacle). Now it is not known whether the new vaccines are dangerous – or effective in any way. My insurance covered it in Moscow and New York so I got it; here I can’t get it so I don’t bother. In NY I caught something anyway and was not overly pleased with the vaccination which is why I don’t bother with it here even though it is probably around $10.
