I would not send the BYOBP children to public school (NJ is different than “in town Boro Park”, as Public School is “scary” in Brooklyn and it would never happen with the oilam’s racial prejudices), but keep them home and teach them how to read and add (which anyone should be able to do, if they try). If they can do that, they will be just as well off in fourth grade as anyone else in the system.
