All you bochrim out there are not going to like this post but maybe someone can come up with a solution for this drinking on Simchat Torah problem. Ive rarely seen “Responsible Drinking”. What ive seen is bochrim drinking getting drunk and then dancing with Sefer Torah!!!! Who gives a drunk guy a Sefer Torah?? But ive seen it in so many shuls. Then they throw up all over the shul and they knock over little kids its so out of control. And isnt drinking a Mitzvah on Purim? Correct me if im wrong but i dont know anywhere that it says drinking on Simchat Torah is a Mitzvah. Before you all go crazy on me im not against drinking but its a Yom Tov. How can we do it in a responsible way?
