the World Series is always more exciting when it goes to the seventh game. There are so many pluses to a longer series: the owners make more money; we get a longer baseball season; and football is ignored just a little longer;
All of these are good for society. I’m voting for the Phillies, not only because the Yankees have always seemed arrogant to me, and I grew up a Mets fan, and I live in Boston, where the Yankees are known as the “Evil Empire.”
