it’s kdai to know that this is a mefurashe halacha in shulchan aruch that sherry casks, etc. are 100% mutar. Many but by no means all chashuva poskim are not comfortable being somech on this because it’s not so geshmak to drink something deliberately made using nonkosher processing.
