yoyo: AP stands for advanced placement. They are college level courses for high school students and by taking them they get credits so that when they go into college you dont need to take as many credits. The only downside with AP courses is that they are a lot harder and you need to pass a test in order to get the credits, as opposed to CLEP where you just take a test whenever you want and you dont need to do any work.
