bozo, I took AP tests in a couple of subjects many years ago, outside of the NYC area, so I’m not sure exactly how it would work for you. At the time, my high school did not offer any AP classes, but the school guidance counselor (she mostly helped students choose & apply to seminaries) arranged for us to take the exams & administered them. Even if your school does not have a college advisor, your guidance counselor or another school official can probably act in that capacity; she would only need to receive the testing materials, supervise test-taking (or arrange for this) & send back the tests as required. If you cannot find an administrator at your school who is willing to do this, you may need to take the test at another school. Perhaps another Jewish girls’ school would be willing to help, if you’d prefer not to take the test at a public school (if shabbos test dates are an issue with respect to public schools, the testing company will arrange an alternate date for you).
