# 2 Sacrilege. jewish music has been steadily becoming less and less ‘jewish sounding’ over the past two decades. goyishe songs are being integrated with the jewish songs (alternative yofyofisa for example)and this is bringing us closer and closer to goyishe culture without us even realizing it. sure the kids want this kind of music. but in a generation where the singers are so looked up to, its the singers and composers MORAL OBLIGATION to pull in the other direction, not wimp out and say “what can i do this is the kind of music they want i must give it to them” just like if your butcher was selling treif its not loshon hara to warn people, here too its a mitzvah to tell people that they can choose not to allow their children to be fed traife music. i am also proud that jewish kids are singing psukim in 2010 , but why to the tune of goyisha songs? lets try and foresee the future. is it not obvious that its going down hill?
