there are many chains that can be made out of paper. also paper lanterns are very easy. you fold a page vertically and make slits on the folded side being careful not to go through to the bottom. you open the paper and make it into a circle horizontally stapling the top and the bottom so that it resembles a lantern. you take a strip of paper and staple it to each side to form the handle.
