I tried this by Rosh Hashana and it really worked- after each seuda i took a walk around the block, as it gave a chance for the food to digest before i went to sleep. I felt lighter the whole Yom Tov, not that nauseas and heavy feeling i had s/t had.
For some odd reason, every Shabbos and Yom Tov I have to walk. I go crazy sitting inside all day, and this never happens during the week. I guess that’s why I never feel nauseas or overstuffed on Yom Tov. 🙂
Try making more poultry for main dishes instead or roast and meat. It’s lighter for sure but I don’t know if healthy.
Portion control always helps. 🙂
