I am confused. Who said anything about wanting to marry the boy’s parents? And how, in any way does the question imply that at all?
To answer the OP, I don’t think there is any overall set standard, nor do I think anyone can make such a thing. Each person is different and some people are looking for an immature person (sometimes because they are immature themselves) and others are looking for a very mature, settled person. While on the other hand you have people who prefer learners to earners or you have people who prefer earners to learners then you also have those people who prefer a combination of both (and within that you have different ratios). Unless the girl and her parents (which guess what? There are different kinds of parents also) are on the same page the likelihood of them wanting the same type of boy are slim. Let me as a question though. As much as a person would like both the girl and her parents to be happy, sof sof is the boy marrying the girl or her parents?
