With PDA Net, you can tether most smart phones, and use some as a bluetooth modem. Wifi works both ways, so most phones with a built in WiFi can be rooted and used as a WiFi hotspot (or you can pay the $20 monthly fee without rooting your phone) is your battery life as good while you are using it as a hotspot?
