Everything depends on how he is doing in school and if he can keep up his grades while doing it. In addition you should be prepared for the financials involved. The parents pay for all the expenses including the costumes and trips and hotel fees. The kids “DO NOT” get paid from what I remember hearing. So it is just for the fame and the fun. So the question is, can your child handle the fame, the time involved and the fun without it getting to his head and get in the way of his educaiton?
