Someone once told me of a sefer written by the Abarbanel called “Yeshuas Meshicho”(I believe its out of print, at least several years ago when I looked for it), where he discusses that the Four Kingdoms will attack Eretz Yisroel in end.. beginning with Poras/Iran. I never saw it though, just repeating
