Listen, motek, you were never an adult raising a teen in today’s terrible world. We know how preachy and condenscending we sound to you b/c we were once teens, but you have no idea how arrogant, foolish and downright obnoxious teens sometimes sound to adults. You cannot imagine what it means for a parent to have raised a child, suffering through sleepless nights, temper tantrums, school issues, etc. etc. etc., only to have her turn into a thankless, chutzpadik teen who denigrates the parent in front of the impressionable younger kids, effectively ruining the atmosphere in the home, while raising her friends on pedestals. Same goes for teachers, to a much lesser extent. So just go back to ??? ?? ???? ??? ???, ???? ????, ????, ???? ??? ????? ????, and all the other nice things we adults have taught you, and… (can’t resist this one) someday you’ll thank me.
