The only way to get off the list is by asking the telemarketer directly, and then they are only required to remove you from the list of the specific org. they called about. The simplest solution is to screen your calls. If you dont recognize the number, dont answer the phone. If its important the caller will either leave a message, try again, or call you on your cell phone (if they have it).
