Forest Hills has become very Russian and Bucharian. The remaining community is more Modern, and is rapidly aging. Perhaps because it’s so spread out (really encompassing Forest Hills and Rego Park in this context), it lacks the sense of kehillah that places like Far Rockaway and KGH do.
