Standard yeshivish dress reflects 30’s through 60’s business dress. What makes all this “jewish” or tzniut? I have no idea. The point of this is that the definition of “respectable dress” will change over time. It runs the gamut of Kilts in Ireland to Jalabiya in the middle east. Haberdashery runs from the knit kippah to the Fez from….can anyone guess where? As long as dress is respectable and within the confines of halachah, it should be left alone.
