It’s really not all that difficult. Ask yourself the following questions:
Can you afford to go on without a paycheck?
Do you love your job so much that you’d do it for free (as a hobby)?
Is the comfort you have at your job going to cause you discomfort regarding the lack of a paycheck (i.e. would your spouse [if any] be unhappy about it? Which discomfort is greater?
Is there some compelling reason to remain there even without a paycheck (i.e. they will provide some valuable experience that you can’t get elsewhere)?
Answer those questions and you’ll see very clearly what you need to do.
And once you move on, make sure you drag his butt to bais din and/or civil court for the back pay that he owes you.
