When I was young I called him “daddy” like all the other american kids. When I was in HS we started calling him Tatty because we started listening more closely to what my mother was saying and she wasn’t saying “daddy” she was saying “tatty” or more so “de tatta hut gezugt”. So we got smarter in our older years. Then of course he became “Zeidy” which he preferred above all else 🙂
