Are you sure that they are sterling silver? Chances are that most of what you have is silver plated. Trays and fruit bowls made of sterling silver would cost in the thousands of dollars. Good silver plate could make you some money – you could sell it on ebay or take it to an antique dealer or an auction. If you want to sell it on ebay, you will have to list it along with its hallmark – the markings on the bottom of the item.
