If the company purposely has a very liberal return policy, and by company policy accepts returns for any reason (to attract sales as you stated), it is fully kosher al pi din AND totally yashrus to fully take advantage of that liberal return policy that the merchant implemented. After all, you were attracted to become their customer partially as a result of their very liberal return policy — just as the store intended.
