The criminal justice system in New York seems to be handling this case well. The US system of justice is not perfect, but it does conscientiously attempt to be fair and find justice. It does have its flaws and it makes its errors.
Thus far, the NYPD, the district attorney’s office and the judiciary have done a conscientious, commendable and remarkably good job on this case.
The final verdict will come from the True Judge, but for now we need to leave it up to the police, the DA and the judge, and perhaps the penal system.
