Thousand? My gown cost about $1400 to rent SIX years ago, and that was not considered an expensive gown.
I think it pays. They do alteration for you and take the whole headache off your head. Plus you get a beautiful, well fitted gown and ship it right back after the wedding.

I wouldn’t want to wear my sister’s. I would like my own taste on my wedding day!
