If you are in NY/NJ and willing to travel a few hours (make that part of the fun) there is a beutiful museam in Albeny called The Empier State Museam. Its free (sugested donation of $2.00 or $5.00 per family and parking is $5.00 for the day) There are many intresting exibits (all difarent section of NYC in the 1800’s, all the reageons of NYS, Ellis islend, a 911 museam, on historic fire truck museam, indian vileges and a discovery room plus a caresol and much much more).
